The design process is an important part of any purpose led build project. We love this part, as we get to be as creative as possible with proposing a new garden. If you are thinking of developing your garden, employing a good garden designer will pay dividends in creating the right end result, and seeing it on paper before even a spade is brought to site in invaluable.
Our Design service follows on from our initial consultation, where we create a client brief, and design quotation tailored to your needs, from a simple black and white sketch, to full plans and plant schedules.
Our design fees are fixed, so that you know exactly what you are spending, as amendments are free. This is how we create your perfect garden, by assessing and amending as necessary until we have created the perfect outdoor space.
A full garden redesign for a contemporary home in Earswick, York, saw a
bespoke Cedar walk-through and raised planters with a polymer-based render,
and room for planting witha colour scheme to suit our clients home.
A garden design for a contemporary home in Copmanthorpe, that reflected the house
and took into consideration of how our clients wanted to use their new garden.
The redesign for a client in Haxby who wanted an outside pace that she could enjoy, and be filled
with wildlife and planting for birds and bees. Despite its complexity this garden would be easy to
maintain, with Porcelain paving and ground cover planting to fill those spaces.
An impressive house in Easingwold always deserved the perfect garden to
compliment the house, and this really did justice to the whole home. Our clients
wanted modern planting, rendered walling, lighting and space to relax, with plenty of
parking space for vehicles. We worked wonders here and as always brought
the project on time, and on budget.
The design here echo’s the style of the contemporary barn conversion for our
clients in Aughton, York, and involves built in seating and an outdoor kitchen for
maximum use during the summer, and a place to relax and enjoy the outdoor space.
“I am delighted with the work you recently carried out for me at the above address. Your custom made classic design and drawn plans complimented the Edwardian style of the property and gave a picture of what the finished result would look like which was very helpful. The suggestions of stone circles, other circles graded in size, filled with various sizes of gravel, both surrounded by setts, edged the flower borders have worked perfectly. The garden is low maintenance as I requested and I appreciate the knowledge of yourself and your staff.”
